In The Community

Elder Care Management has strong ties to the communities we serve. Many of us have lived most of our lives in the Sacramento area and this is where we’ve chosen to call home.

Much of our community service is focused on educating and supporting families and caregivers. Our staff routinely speaks to interested groups on topics related to aging and care planning. (For more information on these presentations, please visit our Community Education page.)  Partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association and Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center, we have hosted numerous caregiver workshops that help empower those who are caring for a loved one. We speak to local Rotary Clubs, churches, and other groups to give people the tools they need to help create a healthy and robust future for themselves and their loved ones.

For the past decade, we’ve also sponsored and attended numerous community events, such as the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. As people who see the effects of this devastating disease every day, we have a passion for helping those living with the disease as well as finding a cure.

We also partner with others in the community who serve elders and their interests, including elder care attorneys,  fiduciaries, hospice agencies, gerontologists and groups advocating for senior rights. As our community’s elder care problem-solvers, connecting with local resources is essential to what we do.
